Markus Stjärnfelt recently had a great result in Argentina. Finishing 6th at Cristo Redentor de los Andes carrera race, he is proving that at 29yo he is becoming a new climbing start in Sweden. "I am ready to take the role of captain for Team Norrland once Bjarne will retire", he said after the race.
Team Manager Raphaël said to journalists: "I count on Markus for driving up Team Norrland. I hope that he is not max, and I can train him more. We have one or two other riders we will count on in the future."
Markus Stjärnfelt has a great season so far. He finished 4th at the Oeresund bridge TT.

No I think he is max out. As Brent McColl, which is bad. I need to train others young guns.
Still training Markus? I think you would better invest your money in youth.
